DRCA Response to the Government of Alberta Restrictions Program (REP)

The Deer Run Community Association (DRCA) will implement the Restriction Exemption Program (REP). As of Monday September 20, in order to enter the Community Centre, DRCA will require the following from everyone over the age of 12:

  • proof of vaccination

    • partial vaccination (one dose) accepted September 20 to October 25 if received 2 weeks before time of service

    • full vaccination (two doses) required after October 25

  • proof of a privately-paid negative PCR or rapid test within 72 hours of service (tests from AHS or Alberta Precision Laboratories not allowed)

  • documentation of a medical exemption

The Restriction Exemption Program would not apply to:

  • children under 12

This will remain in place until public health restrictions are eased. By taking this step, we hope to keep as many of your programs up and running as possible. We understand that this program may hinder you or your participant’s ability to access our facility. Please understand we are taking this direction in the best interest of our Association and our diverse group of facility users/renters.

For more information on these new restrictions, please visit https://www.alberta.ca/covid-19-public-health-actions.aspx.

If you will not be able to continue with your bookings due to these new restrictions, please contact Rob Garnett, our centre manager at 403-278-3117. DRCA will be able to refund or credit any funds paid for time that can no longer be used.
