Community Clean Up Volunteers Needed

We are once again hosting an annual community clean up. We need volunteers to help pull off this fantastic, free service to the community.

  • Date: Saturday, September 17, 2022

  • Location: Deer Run Community Centre Parking Lot

Enjoy throwing some trash in the city waste crushers or choose a lighter role at the gate and at one of our recycle stations.

Available roles:

  • Gate Marshall (light)

  • Donations Table (light)

  • Loading packer Truck 1 (heavy)

  • Loading packer Truck 2 (heavy)

  • Metal bin sorting and loading (heavy)

  • Reusable recycling (give & go) station (mixed)

  • Propane tank station (heavy)

  • Electronics recycling station (mixed)

All roles run from 8:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. except the Gate Marshal role (2 shifts)

Anyone can volunteer who is 15 or over. No experience is required.
