Deer Run Litter Clean-Up April 13: Pitch in for a Cleaner Community

Spring is here, and it's time to roll up our sleeves and give back to our community! Deer Run residents are invited to join hands for the annual Spring Litter Clean-Up event on Saturday, April 13, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Deer Run Community Centre.

This initiative aims to beautify our neighborhood and make it a cleaner, more pleasant place to live. Organized by local volunteers, the Spring Litter Clean-Up promises a rewarding and fulfilling experience for participants of all ages.

Upon arrival between 9:00 AM and 11:30 AM, volunteers will receive litter bags and gloves (adults only) to equip them for the task at hand. Families are welcome to join in on the action, but children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Participants will have the opportunity to pick an area from our map of Deer Run and dedicate their efforts to tidying up the streets, parks, and pathways. Whether it's collecting discarded wrappers, picking up stray bottles, or clearing debris, every little bit helps in maintaining the pristine beauty of our community.

But the benefits don't stop there! By participating in the Spring Litter Clean-Up, volunteers may enter into a draw prize giveaway. Exciting prizes include four chances to win a $25 CO-OP gift card from Calgary CO-OP Deer Valley and one chance to win a Complimentary Pass to the Trico Centre for Family Wellness.
